Food and diet have everything to do with how you feel daily!
If you want to feel your best and have energy, you have to consider the way you fuel your body. If you are eating too much junk food or sugary food, and relying on caffeine to get you going all the time, you are rapidly depleting your body’s health and vitality. Why not try a different approach to eating? One based on raw foods?
Raw foods are better than cooked, refined or processed foods for a number of reasons. They contain more important nutrients than a food which is changed, so they supply our bodies with vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants, and they contain enzymes, which not only help us break down and use our food, but which stop us from aging and help us fight disease. Enzymes cannot survive cooking or pasteurizing, which is why they are not present in most refined foods.
Another great reason to start eating raw is because many of the so-called staple foods, or commodity foods, such as wheat, corn, soy, and dairy products are irritating to our bodies and clogging for our digestive systems. When we eat a food which is abrasive to our systems, we end up not feeling well or having the amount of energy we should. This can cause us to reach for a supplement and lock us into a cycle of eating poorly and compensating with more unhealthy stimulants. The best thing you can do for yourself is stop living this way and start eating a raw food diet.
Your food and diet can reflect the very best in you!
Healthy, natural, fruits, nuts, seeds, vegetables, and non-glutinous grains can keep us feeling and looking wonderful. Far from a cookie or a cracker, whole foods contain living cells, cancer fighting properties, and other qualities which help keep us youthful, full of health and even in a better mood. Irritating foods don’t just hurt our bodies, they mess with our emotions, too. When we are tired or unhealthy, we tend to be unhappy as well. This is just one more way we miss out on all that life has to offer.
By choosing natural fare, we also connect more with our food; we can begin to become more conscious of where it comes from and all of the things it means to us. Some things commonly tied to food are a sense of comfort, home, family, familiarity, safety and pleasure. These associations are the reason many people eat, even when they are not hungry. As you begin to discover for yourself what food means to you, you may find it easier to control your appetites and cravings, and you will ultimately eat healthier, and less often.
The other thing to remember is that food comes from nature. Although humans manipulate, cultivate, and even chemically change it, the earth is where all food ultimately begins. Unfortunately, most of us believe that food really just comes from the grocery store. When we eat something, we don’t tend to think of it in its original state or consider the processes it has undergone in order to get to us. This lack of conscientiousness is why so many of the worst food raising and farming practices continue to exist and pollute our environment.
Your diet should reflect what is healthy, alive, and aware in you. That is what Eating for Energy is all about. You can start living and eating in a way that helps and improves your body, so that you no longer have to supplement for energy, and you don’t find yourself feeling tired in the middle of your day. You can also eat with awareness, and feel good about what you eating, because you begin to reconnect with food at its source.
Food and diet are the keys to looking and feeling great!
Feeling your best should never require expensive vitamins or energy supplements. It should come from inside you, when your body is receiving the proper support from a raw food. Food energy is the only boost you need, as long as you put away the things that are making your body ill, tired or irritated and start giving it the nutrients it needs to build muscle, burn fat, and maintain a healthy immune system. That is why you should begin a new lifestyle right now.
The longer you wait and continue to fill yourself with toxins and food additives, the harder it will be to heal your body and end your attachments to these harmful foods.
