Energize Your Morning With These Raw Food Diet Recipes

This first recipe is my go-to green juice. I usually make this first thing in the morning. Watch the video to see how it’s prepared. The ingredient list is below.

INGREDIENTS:

1 head of kale
1 bunch celery
1 head of parsley
1 apple
1-2 carrots
1 cucumber
Juice of 1/2 lemon

Now that we’ve got huge amounts of body-invigorating alkalinity coming into our diet thanks to this green juice, let’s move on to the next recipe in our raw food diet meal plan

This is one of my favourite snacks to have throughout the day. It’s called “Berries in Cashew Cream” and I’m sure you can imagine just how good it tastes, simply based on the name.

Here’s the video showing you how to make it – it’s an older video but it still gives you the goods:

INGREDIENTS:

For the cashew cream:

1 handful of cashews
1-2 dates
Pinch of cinnamon
Water (as much as desired)

Now, just pour the cashew cream over a cup of your favourite berries and enjoy.

“Later in the Day” Raw Food Diet Recipes

As we move through the day, we get closer to late afternoon and dinner and that’s when you might want to whip together this sensational raw soup…

INGREDIENTS:

1 avocado
1 red pepper
Handful of cilantro
1-2 cups walnut or almond milk

Alright, so we’ve packed in some incredible nutrition already but instead of a heavy meal for dinner, we’re just going to follow our soup with what I call the “best smoothie ever”.

Here’s the video showing you how to make it:

INGREDIENTS:

Water of 1 young coconut (or water if no coconuts available)
1 handful of cashews
1 banana
2 dates
1 tbsp flax seeds (optional)

Alright, by this time you should be full and more than satisfied. Following these 4 simple raw food diet recipes, you’ve added tons of quality nutrition to your diet without spending hours in the kitchen.

I think combined, these 4 recipes might take 1 hour out of your day (at most). Better yet, if you can have someone prepare your meals for you then there would never be an excuse NOT to eat or drink these raw food diet recipes!

Easy Raw Food Recipes

easy raw food recipesWhy I Love Easy Raw Food Recipes

I’m not a fan of complicated raw food diet recipes…

And I think long, complicated, and ingredient-intense recipes are one of the main reasons that many people fall off course when going raw.

Let’s be honest…

You don’t want to spend 48 hours dehydrating crusts, crackers, and other foods that require truckloads of nuts and seeds.

Not only do they take long to make but they also weigh you down, since nuts and seeds can be very heavy.

So if you want easy raw food recipes then it’s time to pack up your dehydrator, throw it in storage and bust our your vitamix or other blender.

I’m naturally very lazy so I’d rather throw 6-8 fresh fruits and veggies into a blender and drink my nutrients than wait around for hours waiting and waiting for some gourmet raw food recipe to be finally be ready to eat.

Can you relate?

That’s why, I think you’ll enjoy the following easy raw food recipes. These are some of my go-to recipes when the last thing I want to do is make food.

3 Easy Raw Food Recipes

This is a delicious raw food recipe (smoothie) that packs huge amounts of nutrition. In fact, all the raw recipes you’ll ever come across provide unparalled nutrition. This smoothie almost tastes like candy. Just blend everything together.

1 cup baby spinach
1 cup arugula
1 cup strawberries
1 mango
1 apple
1 tbsp green barley grass powder (optional)
2-3 cups water

This next smoothie is my current favourite as it tastes great and packs in about 5-6 servings of fruits and veggies – double whammy! Just throw all the ingredients into a blender and enjoy!

1 head romaine lettuce
1 apple
1 pear
1 banana
1 handful parsley
2 tbsp hemp seeds (optional)
Juice of 1/2 lime
2-3 cups water

And finally, a very surprising raw food diet breakfast that will almost make you laugh…

3 apples

That’s it.

That will often be my breakfast. Who says raw food recipes need to be complicated?

It’s all about simplicity and the more simple you can keep things, the better you’re going to feel, and the easier you’ll find sticking to eating healthy in general.

And, as an added bonus, here’s a video in which I prepare a delicious raw smoothie from my best selling raw food program, Eating for Energy.

Enjoy…
